TV host and actress Iza Calzado is now officially Kapamilya! She signed a three-year contract with ABS-CBN on Tuesday, January 24. Iza also signed a non-exclusive contract with Star Cinema. She is set to star in a John Lloyd Cruz and Sarah Geronimo movie, a love triangle type of story to be directed by Cathy Garcia Molina.
On Sunday, January 29, the former GMA-7 artist will have a grand welcome on “ASAP.” She will perform a dance production number together with other Kapamilya stars. According to her manager Noel Ferrer, Iza will also guest on ABS-CBN Sunday noon time show “The Buzz.”
“She will soon be featured on “Maalaala Mo Kaya” to mark her 10th showbiz anniversary,” Ferrer added. She is also set to host the second season of The Biggest Loser: Pinoy Edition replacing Sharon Cuneta.
Iza Calzado has worked with GMA-7 for 10 years. She was cast in The Echo, the English-language remake of Filipino director Yam Laranas’ horror film Sigaw.

Miss Universe 2010 fourth runner-up Venus Raj will be part of GMA-7 new tv series entitled Koronang Papel. The teleserye’s original title’s Beauty Queen will be the rival of ABS-CBN fashion-serye Magkaribal.
The news confirmed by Fanny Serrano in an interview with PEP. Source : PEP
