Alexis Foster performed “You’re All I Need To Get By” by Marvin Gaye and Tami Terrell together with Robin Thicke on “Duets” Thursday night, May 31 episode.

According to the judges, Foster’s performance:

Kelly Clarkson: “I thought it was disconnected. It didn’t feel like a duet.”

Jennifer Nettles: “That song is such a smooth song.”

John Legend: You have a wonderful voice. “You have to hold your mic to your mouth.”
