ABS-CBN daily morning show “Showtime” will be the newest noontime show replacing “Happy, Yipee, Yehey!” starting February 6, 2012.

In a statement released by Bong Osorio, Head of ABS-CBN Corporate Communications, “The new show with a new title “It’s Showtime” will be hosted by Vhong Navarro, Anne Curtis, Billy Crawford, Karylle, ‘Kuya’ Kim Atienza, Teddy Corpuz, Jugs Jugueta and Vice Ganda, whose camaraderie, spontaneity, talents, and shared sense of humor have brought joy to kapamilyas.

Joining them in “It’s Showtime” are dance master Jhong Hilario, and favorite “ex hurados” Ryan Bang, and Coleen Garcia.”

“Together, they will be bringing a new and more exciting show filled with surprises and engaging segments that will make viewers experience MORE FUN IN SHOWTIME.

ABS-CBN thanks the “madlang people, ” here in the Philippines and in The Filipino Channel (TFC) markets worldwide, for being with Showtime and its hosts in their journey of bringing joy and hope every morning the past two years. ABS-CBN invites the viewers to continue their unwavering support for Showtime as it moves to noontime, from Monday to Saturday starting February 6,” Osorio added.

Happy, Yipee, Yehey! Final Episode on February 4

ABS-CBN daily noon time show “Happy, Yipee, Yehey! will finally air it’s last episode after 51 weeks on Saturday, February 4, 2012. The network put an end to rumors and issued it’s official statement about the last airing of the show.

According to Bong Osorio, Head of ABS-CBN Corporate Communications:

“Happy Yipee Yehey” (HYY) will have its last episode with the grand finals of its “My Girl” search at the AFP Theater on Saturday, February 4, 2012.

ABS-CBN is very grateful to the HYY hosts and production staff for their hard work and contribution in giving our noontime viewers a “happy, yipee, yehey” experience for the past year.

We also extend our deepest gratitude to our viewers, here in the Philippines and in The Filipino Channel (TFC) markets worldwide, for their support to the program.

The HYY hosts will be given new projects that kapamilyas will surely enjoy.”

Meanwhile, there are also speculations that John Estrada, Joey Marquez and returning Kapamilya actor Richard Gomez will replace HYYY! while other hosts Pokwang, Toni Gonzaga, Melai Cativeros, John Pratts, Bianca Manalo and Matteo Guidicelli will be give another show.

Happy, Yipee, Yehey! premiered on February 12, 2011 at the Ynares Sports Arena.
