The UFC 107 fight is over! UFC 107 has ended and one has emerged as the winner! BJ Penn defeated Sanchez via TKO (cut) at 2:37 of round 5 to retain the UFC Lightweight Championship.

Diego Sanchez showed a ton of heart surviving thought a knock down in the first minute of the fight, but never could get in a groove or settle in against Penn. Diego attempted takedown after takedown, but was unsuccessful and punished after every single leg takedown attempt. He was hit with elbows and small punches to the side of his head as the “Prodigy” toyed with Diego and never let him get comfortable or get anything going on offense.

BJ Penn once again dominates another contender to show that he belongs on top of the pound for pound list of top fighters along with Anderson Silva, Georges St.Pierre and Fedor Emelianenko.
