Manny Pacquiao Vs. Ricky Hatton fight is on! This is the new development after promoters of Pacquiao-Hatton fight called off the other day. Our Pambansang Kamao Manny Pacquiao has agreed to accept the offer to fight British superstar Ricky Hatton on May 2.
Pacquiao change his mind and was convinced to accept the offer. According to Pacquiao’s confindante, Rex Wakee Salud, the Filipino Idol will receive $12 million guarantee and 52 percent of the pay-per-view shares.
ESPN Sports said, “Originally promoters agreed a 50-50 deal in mid-December, but Pacquiao demanded the lion’s share. Hatton budged, agreeing to a 52-48 split in Pacquiao’s favor, but it wasn’t enough for Pacquiao, who wanted at least 55 percent. In the end, Pacquiao accepted the 52-48 split with a tweak to another part of the agreement.”
In the end, Manny Pacquiao Vs. Ricky Hatton is still the much awaited fight of boxing superstars this year. Again, who do you think will win the fight?

make it a fair fight tie one of rickys hands behind his back and give pacman a chance,us british are a hard race something you filopinos dont understand we brought up on rough streets where we use a bear hands to fight (not knifes or bolows) its impossilble for a brit to have a fight 1 on 1 with a pinoy there has to be 10pinoy and 1 brit (not fair) we always make sure its 1 on 1 in the uk! philippines is a loving country we families stick together but our culture is more hard! woman raise 3 children on there own with no family or friends holding down 3 part time jobs at the same time pinays have the family,some peple think we all high blood but unless u have been uk you will never understand us we have freedom of speech unlike here and fight for what is right it doesnt matter who has the most money you can challange anybody with out having to worry about being shot!we are encourged to show emotion unlike here where emotion is a sign of weakness!we live for the future you live for today as tomorow may never come but I understand because it a poor country here,I personaly believe that if ricky is to win the fight he must k.o pacman b4 6 rounds otherwise i believe pacmans stamina will overide hatton but the climate of which pacman trains in here philippines is the key to his sucess and stamina…my son is half british and half pinoy so It doesnt matter whos wins to me but it would be nice for a brit to make his mark here in phil

I agree Manny will beat Hatton, but all you Manny fans, its not beacuse Manny is the great boxer you guys make him out to be, he just clearly is the better fighter between the two. And many are saying well look what Manny did to Oscar, well honestly, everyone knows Oscar lost that fight because of his weight and not because Manny is better. But back to this fight, Hatton is just a terrible boxer. In fact he reminds me of Manny five years ago, but Manny has improved and Hatton has not. Manny in less than 5!!

Pacman will surely win hands down against hatton. The severe beating hatton will sustain will cause his early retirement in boxing due to physical deformity he will incur. I suggest that hatton backout with this fight against Pacman while he still have the opportunity.
I hope Manny continues to win. Maybe as long as he won’t underestimate his opponent. He should continue to prepare and work hard for the fight.
