Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao or Oscar “Golden Boy” De la Joya

Who do you think will win on December 6, 2008? Philippines best Manny Pacquiao or Mexico’s Oscar Dela Joya?
Amidst the negative criticisms against Manny Pacquiao, he is determined to continue his fight for De la Joya. Pacquiao has never fought above 134 pounds and this is a big test for him. This is what other people see on Pacquiao’s fate this December. Some politicians have asked him to quit the fight because De la Joya has bigger chances on winning. The Golden Boy De la Joya has a 39-5 record, including 30 knockouts, is tipped to climb the ring for the 147-pound fight at about 160.
Many boxing analyst believe the fight will be Oscar’s assuring win before he retires. Boxing fans and boxers believe the fight is a mismatch due to Oscar’s size and for the first time Manny Pacquiao will enter the ring as an underdog in this dream match. Bets has already taken place with Oscar being the heavy favorite in the polls.
Ang laking tao daw ni De la Joya para matalo ni Pacquiao. Wala daw sa kalingkingan ni Oscar ang Pacman ng bansa.
The Dream Match Pacquiao Vs. De la Joya is scheduled on Saturday, December 6 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada.

negatibo – mas ok sana kung title fight para di halatang mala movie ang dating ng magiging laban kasi siguradong masarap abangan. nagmukha kasing pera ang laban kasi nga naman e 15m (kung di ako nagkakamali) ang makukuha ni manny manalo o matalo.
positibo – sa boxing naman e d mahalaga ang laki at haba, mahalga ang timbang at dpt preparado ka sa laban. kompiyansa ako kay manny sa laban na ito. yun ngang mga bata e napatumba niya, yan pa kayang matanda. tama ang title na dream match. kasi dream ni de la hoya makalaban ang greatest fighter ngayon bago siya bumitiw, si manny naman e pinaunlakan niya ito dahil dream din niya makalaban ang isa sa kanyang lolo este idolo. pero d niya dream si ara mina makasama, lagot siya kay jinky. ahehehe!

I have been mentioning this many times. This fight is a David & Goliath circus that gamblers will earn a lot. I believe that Manny is sincere when he said that he will do it not just because of money, but also to add honor to our country.
But for Oscar, I don’t think so. He has proven himself enough as a boxer and the world already knows he is a good boxer. He will be retiring and my opinion is, he wants it to end being talked about. Unlike some boxers who disappeared just like a bubble.
So who will win? I think it will be Manny, but the hard way. He will reduce his speed as he will increase his weight. Although Oscar is much older, and he will be lighter which can make him weaker. But still, we must not underestimate his remaining power and size.
