Sports entertainment competition, American Ninja Warrior, premiered on May 26, Monday at 9/8c on NBC and Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at 8/7c on Esquire Network.
According to co-host Jenn Brown, “Competitors, they’ll build the courses in their backyards, they’ll train in gyms and then all of a sudden they’ll show up for our city qualifier and they’ll see two obstacles they’ve never seen before, and that’s what makes our show so difficult.”
The athletes who complete the qualifying course fastest advance to the national finals in Las Vegas and will face n even longer course modeled after Japan’s famed Mount Midoriyama.
This season, “American Ninja Warrior” will travel to five cities for qualifying rounds: Los Angeles, Dallas, St. Louis, Miami and Denver, before heading to Las Vegas for the finals. The winner will receive half a million dollars.
