Facebook Is Addicting than Friendster

There are many popular community sites online but only few of them survive. Friendster and Facebook are just two of them.
Friendster has become popular among Asians and that’s the reason why it’s called the icon of social networking in Asia. I think Friendster is the like of younger generation than Facebook. Yes Friendster is so 2003 but how come they’re left behind?
On Facebook, it has tons of applications and tools which enable you to play around the site, and if you are program-savvy, you can even write an application or two and share it with everyone on Facebook. My favorite application for the moment is the Graffitti Wall. You can write and draw on your friend’s “Wall”, which is a creative way of leaving a message on his/her site.
Facebook has a pretty interface which is amazing but i must admit i had a hard time when i first used it. Now it’s so addicting! Facebook truly is the “Google” of social networking sites, and it would take time to displace it from its present position.

Agree! Kahit yung girlfriend ko, hindi mahilig mag internet, nung matry nya Facebook at Vampire Wars..naku na-adik! Ino-on pa yung PC (kahit hindi ginagamit) para lang magka points sa Vampire Wars! Grabe..

Sa Friendster kase payabangan ng pics, paramihan ng profile views, pasikatan ng profile layout. In short, sa Friendster, it’s more about yourself than your friends. Kabaligtaran naman sa Facebook, kase unang-una walang profile views tapos di rin nacucustomize ang profile layout. Yung “pangpayabang” pics mo… ok madami siguro magview pero it will be forgotten din sa sobrang dami ng update feeds about your friends sa homepage mo na pwede mo ring comment-an. Now that’s what we call a true social network!

Oo naman! Friendster pa rin ang original. Kahit mas madalas ako sa Facebook ako ngayon, di ko pa din kinakalimutan ang Friendster.

yes it is obvious, at first when i was not introduced to Facebook, i was mad about Orkut, but later when i switched to it, believe me, i never used orkut from then. Facebook is addictive, because it has more tighter security and many additional features that orkut lacks For Ex- games,questionnaire,quiz and many more
