Among the Top 10 Asian Cities of the Future by London-based FDI Magazine are Quezon city, Cebu City and Davao City. This is really a great news to all Filipinos!
Other Asian cities who landed on Top 10 are Hongkong, Taipei, Melbourne, 3 from China - Dalian, Guangzhou and Shijiazhuang.
I wonder why Tokyo is not in the list.
Meanwhile, among the Top 5 Asian Cities with the best human resources, Davao City was No. 5. Other 4 cities according to ranks are Singapore, Melbourne, Hongkong and Taipei.
The FDI Magazine used the following criteria: economic potential, cost effectiveness, human resources, quality of life, infrastructure, business friendliness and promotion strategy.
Congratulations to all the bloggers from the 3 cities! This is something that you shouldn’t miss to blog. Wow Philippines!

baka maraming pinoy na nagta-trabaho dun sa magazine… haha… anyway, this is really good news and good publicity for the country… i’m not surprised at cebu and davao… i think that they are really the most progressive cities in the country today… but quezon city? hmmm… dapat las pinas city na lang! hehe… just kidding.

i know Tokyo is not on the list, because it is also a top city now including Seoul.
What i’m wondering is why Melbourne there? I thought it’s only ‘Asian Cities’?

what great news? Tokyo is not in the list coz it would have been the future city in the 1900 perhaps when its potential could have already been predicted. it goes like “Tokyo has grown old and other younger and less developed cities are given the opportunity for transformation”.
