Trillanes and Lim Call for GMA to Step Down
GMA to Step Down. The group of soldiers carrying armed with M-16 and M-14 rifles together with Senator Antonio Trillanes IV and Brigadier Gen. Danilo Lim walked out of a Makati City courtroom and marched along Makati Avenue to oust President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo. The commotion is a sign of withdrawing support from the administration of GMA. Former vice president Teofisto Guingona and Bishop Tobias were also present.
In a radio interview, Lim said, this is a withdrawal of support. We are joining our people in calling for the removal of the President. Lim was summoned to attend the hearing as a witness in the coup trial of Trillanes and other junior officers allegedly involved in the botched July 2003 mutiny against Mrs. Arroyo. He was about to testify on a trial court when a man in uniform grab him and brought him out of the courtroom and was accompanied by several officers. The walkout occurred several minutes after the start of a court hearing at Makati Regional Trial Court Branch 148.
The civil society group of Black and White Movement was said to join Trillanes with his call for President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo to step down from her office. BWM is the group behind pinoybigbriber.com.
In a separate interview with GMA-7, Senator Trillanes said, This is a call for change. All those who believe that we should rise from poverty, join us and come here in Makati.
Meanwhile, employees, businesses and people around Makati are starting to panic. The news suddenly feared by many and facing another crisis in our country.
Will Trillanes and Lim be heard by the Filipinos? Is this the answer for a change? Filipinos speak up!

i dont think that this call will be fruitful. kumbaga wala kasi sa timing. there is really no issue that can spark the people’s will to revolt. walang triggering factor like the opening of the envelope.

at eto namang si guingona nakaka dismaya na. sa lahat na lang ata ng anti administration demonstration ay nandun sya. sa kabuuan nakaka dismaya na ang politika sa pilipinas. politics here have become synonymous to “paninira” which is very far off na from the true meaning of the term.

As of now, pinasok na ang Manila Peninsula Hotel kung saan nagtago sina Trillanes and Lim. They won’t go out. Lahat ng guests sa hotel even the employees evacuated the area. Sa ngayon mediamen at mga pulis ang nasa loob. Sana maayos na eto, magpapasko na sana tigilan na. Wag na sanang hintayin pa ang pagdanak ng dugo.

lam mo ka ambo, kahit pa noble ang cause nina Trillanes, malamang di ako punta dun for the ff reasons:
1. malayo ako sa makati, mahal ang tiket ng eroplano
2. bakit naman laging sa mga mamahaling hotel nagkukuta ang mga to, bakit di sa luneta, o liwasang bonifacio o kaya dun na lang sa camp aguinaldo para me armory.
3. kulang sa nga sa timing, alang critical mass to support. ma at pa ng mga maralita, ,e mababago ba?
4. puro na lang militar, lagi na lang ba tayong second the motion sa mga naka-uniporme? kahit pa ok ang layunin nila, ang militar, militar. ayaw ko na sa diktadurya. naalala ko nun si marcos, banned ang voltes V, di ko kaya yun.

Noble? I dunno. True, maraming Pinoy - sama ako - ang banas sa gobyerno sa inaraw araw na lintanya nang curroption, legal favoritism, nepotism ni Gloria, chuva chuva kunilechiwa chorva chorva.
Eto naman si Trillanes, hmpt! it’s all about EXECUTION and sa dinig ko mukhang init lang nang ulo to dala nung walkout. It’s not because Senator na sya eh bawat galaw nya susuportahan nang fans nya. Wizzz!
For one thing, there’s not one issue at the moment that unites as all. True, corruption to the max at in you face nang mga nasa gobyerno. True, ga bundok na ang problema. In other words, there’s a lot of people who are benefitting from the corruption at kung ano ano pang chuvalinga kaya walang pakelam ang iba. Don’t rock the boat ika nga. Yan ang taka ko, pano na si inang bayan mga ateng? Yung mga naiwanang walang boses? Tiga tingala na lamang???

PAREHAS!I am not a fan of Gloria when all you read are corruption ever and her family has top billing! Litanya tooo pag sinabi ko!!! and I am soooo disappointed at Trillanes!!! I was soo excited to see him win, because he ran on fighting corruption platform chorva chorva but I know that the more I get to know him, the more I know that this fight is personal! I honestly do not believe that he is fighting for OUR cause, I think he did for all his self-serving objectives.
How could you ran over a private hotel and ran it as your own? How could you ignore those people there? Why not ran a coup attempt at your house? At the Camps? Ba’t mahilig si Trillanes sa 5 star hotel???
