Passport Direct is an online service for renewing Philippine Passports brought to us by Teleserv.ph. The good news, Passport Direct is now accredited for New Applications online aside from Passport Renewals.
There are some important changes you need to know to the new policy of the Department of Foreign Affairs that requires personal appearance for those renewing to the new Machine-Readable Passports.
“Personal appearance is required for your thumbprints. However, as a Passport Direct customer, you are entitled to a priority lane that reduces the time spent at the DFA to around 15 minutes only and there are revised requirements for the passport application.”

* 7 years old and below;
* 65 years old and above or
* mentally or physically incapacitated.
You may call them anytime 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at (02) 737-1000.
This is an accredited service by Department of Foreign Affairs, Philippines.
For passport and consular-related inquiries, please call DFA Consular Information Center at 556-0000 from Mon-Fri from 8am-4pm.

Ayus na sana if not for the personal appearance. I need to renew my passport since I would need to renew my visa next month and I don’t want to return to the Philippines just for that. Buti nalang may Philippine consulate office sa Shanghai. Hanggang July nalang kase ang validity ng passport ko e ang requirement sa visa application at least six months pang valid ang passport mo. Dapat may online fingerprinting service na din sila. hahaha!

Hindi ko rin nakuha yung new passport (blue background). Sayang mukhang maganda. Ikukuha ko naman ng passport yung anak ko… blue background na sya. Tama mo appearance na sila. Buti nalang kase isipin mo kung dadalin pa yung mga bata dun.. ang hirap nun.

kuya pumunta nako ng dfa nakasked na ko sa may 08 anu susunod kung gagawin matatagalan pa ba ko sa pagkuha ng passport last wed me kumuha eh bat sbi nila mabilis lang daw bkit ako inisked pa nila ng may 08 pinasa ko lng xerox copy ng application form ko… pakiemail na lang ung answer t.y.

i would like to ask bakit ang dami hinihingi sa dfa, marriage certicate ng parents, immigration papers ng parent baptisimal at kung ano anu pa sa birth certificate ko filipino rin, ang surname kasi gamit ko ay yap pero filipino citizen ang father ko pero patay na. i’m 44 years old na kelangan pa ba ng parents certificate? like my wife ganun din naencounter niya tan ang surname pero filipino citizen pati ang parents niya.

bakit kelangan ba ng school records ? kelangan lang naman birth certificate nbi clearance for abroad not local, marriage contract if married. at 4 pcs of passport picture with royal blue background. medyo mahirapan ka kung chinese citizen ka like me filipino citizen ako pero surname is chinese. daming hahanapin sa iyo.
