Bloggers Project for Flash Flood Victims in Cagayan De Oro City

The coming of New Year wasn’t good for people of Cagayan De Oro. Our fellow Kababayans in Northern Mindanao especially those at CDO are still under water. Flash floods hit the city recently and according to news, food supply in various evacuation centers would not be enough to sustain the needs of affected families.
With the alarming situation in Cagayan De Oro City, our fellow blogger ChiQ Montes decided to launch a program called Feeding Program Project with the help of CDO Bloggers Group.
As of this writing, the project has raised a total of $60 from various bloggers and other donors. The project is asking for as little as $3 via Paypal. The proceeds of the program will be used to buy foods and other needs of the victims. Every little thing counts. More important are our prayers for the victims and those who lost their love ones in this tragedy.

I’ve read about the flood on other blogs. Its january 16th by the time of posting and has already raised $60. I’m sure the amount has increased by now, which is why it deserves an extra 3 dollar donation.
