After a long time, Jocelyn “Joc-Joc” Bolante finally showed up in Senate this morning. People of the Philippines especially our poor farmers want to know if Joc-joc’s statement could be a “joke”! No not at this time.
We want to know the truth behind Fertilizers scam, but the question is - will Bolante speak for the truth? I guess no one in the government would tell the world that he pocketed the money for a very wicked reason.
Truth will set you free - by this time this is not in Bolante’s mind. He would choose to protect his family rather being killed by whoever the mastermind of this scam is. Bolante should speak out against the mastermind and this is what people want to know. If you were to ask, who do you think is behind the fertilizers scam?
In the Senate, he said he don’t know nothing about the scam. The hell with Bolante, why all of a sudden he was in hiding for two and a half years? When he arrived at the airport, he suddenly fell ill when in fact he’s doing well when he left from the US. People said, Joc Joc Bolante is OA - overacting! From the airport he was brought immediately to the St. Luke’s Medical Center in Quezon City where he stayed for more than two weeks.
Joc-joc also cleared the name of the President. He said GMA has no involvement in the P728 million fertilizer scam. He also denied that the fund wasn’t used for the President’s campaign in 2004. According to Bolante, the money was used properly and legally - “As far as I know, the P728-million farm input and implement program funding of the Department of Agriculture was not a scam.”
The Senate investigation in Fertilizers Fund Scam is just the beginning, but he already found “guilty” by the probing senators. Okay let’s give Bolante the benefit of the doubt *sigh*, but this time there will be no “joke” and he should speak for the truth and nothing but the truth.
The Senate Hearing this morning wasn’t as good as people expected. - “Puro pahaging lang alam ng mga Senador na yan, puro pata, puro kayabangan ang alam. Ano na bang kaso ang naresolba sa Senado?”
In reality, Senate Investigation again appeared like a carnival. With due respect to Bolante, he still deserves the due process and we have to follow the rules. Let our Justice System do their job.
I just read this article, yup tama ka, wala nga rin akong nkitang kaso na naresolba ng mga senado e. puro lng debate nkikita ko. basta ang alam ko my pinoprotektahan lng sila n nsa itaas e dahil takot din sila ky bolante baka madulas yung dila nya…

Kaya minsan, hindi na lang ako nanonood ng mga hearings sa senado eh, kasi imbes na maging concern ako sa isyu, natatawa lang ako sa mga magagaling ng palusot ng mga iniimbestigahan at naiinis sa mga pulitikong hindi naman nagtatanong lang kundi nagdidiin na agad sa mga sangkot dito.

napanood ko yun 1st part ng imbestigasyon kahapon. natawa ako kay miriam pati kay mar roxas sa word niyang “kurakoted”

i think it’s a good thing, at least, that the hearings are being broadcast live, both on tv and on the radio. at least this way, people can listen in, and make up their own minds. we need more transparency in government.

The Senate investigations are providing a good media exposure and pa- pogi points sa mga Senador ng bayan. But unfortunately, as with the previous investigations - most of them did not do their homework. Kaya hayun, nagkalat at nag-pa asar kay Jocjoc. What a joke!
