The lead vocal of Eraserheads Ely Buendia was rushed to the hospital while performing at the Eraserheads Reunion Concert tonight.
The said event was cut short due to Ely Buendia’s condition. Ely was performing on stage with his guitar and suddenly bowed his head. It was on backstage when Ely finally collapsed and rushed at the Makati Medical Center.
Unconfirmed reports said that the lead vocal of the group suffered a heart attack, but the latest news reported he suffered from physical and emotional stress. Last August 28 two days before the concert, Ely Buendias mother passed away.
The concert started 8:15 pm at the Fort Bonifacio Global City open field in Taguig and stopped at around 10pm. The band members apologized to the audience for cutting short the reunion concert.

Sabi nung bouncer na katabi namin, 10 songs lang daw eh – siguro they were anticipating that something might happen to Ely due to severe stress. But I think they prepared more than that kasi yung mga best songs hindi pa na-play.
Lugi na kung lugi yung mga nanood, like me (kaso Gen. Ad lang ako and it was for free), but it was worth it.

Scart yes natuloy nga pero ang daming nangyari before the concert. Namatay ang mom nya 2 days before the concert, yung pag back out ng Marlboro as sponsor tapos si Ely na mismo sa concert inatake. Sana me part two ito, i mean the concert =)
