Christine is here to promote Philippine tourist destinations as an endorser of Department of Tourism Team North America. She is scheduled to visit Bohol, Tagbilaran, Palawan, Tagaytay, Cebu, and Boracay. Her visit is part of Department of Tourism Experience Philippines campaign for the Overseas Filipino Workers.
That’s exciting! Can’t wait to meet her personally! Oh by the way, i heard she’ll be guesting in Wowowee too!

Enjoy your trip to the Philippines! I was there in 1970 (going to jungle survival school at Clark Air Base) on by way to Viet Nam. My father was stationed on Corregidor at the onset of World War II and was captured by the Japanese in May, 1942 and spent the rest of the war at Cabanatuan, Bilibid Prison Hospital, Palawan (I noticed you are going there!) and then at Funatsu, Japan. Palawan was the site of a rather infamous slaughter of American POWs by the Japanese which my father was fortunate enough to escape.
