What Are Your Goals in 2009?

Nine years ago, a friend handed me a book by Stephen Covey – The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People. He said, it’s his second book he can’t live without aside from the Bible. My friend and i have a lot in common. We always think of failure and success. We would always kick ass of negative people. We believe that failure is just a start of a new beginning. We would always set our goals before a start of something new that comes our way. Everything he said must start with a goal.
Now I am sharing with you my goals this 2009. What are my goals as a blogger this year?
1. I promise not to blog late at night.
2. Increase my earnings in all aspects from Google Adsense and Affiliate Networks.
3. Double my subscribers from 210 to 420 by the end of the year.
4. Read more interesting blogs.
5. Increase knowledge in SEO.
6. Publish at least 20 quality articles in a month.
7. Attract more visitors.
8. Increase charity works.
9. Travel Philippines and blog about it.
10. Meet new friends.
According to Stephen Covey, personal goals should be attainable. Take one goal at a time he said. Goals should be specific and realistic. It requires discipline, time and desire to make a personal change. Achieving personal goals can be as simple as making a promise and keeping that promise.

I was thinking of doing the same goals, but the #1 in your list changed my mind, can’t escape blogging late at night, it’s my favorite time of the day as I can think of what’s to write when everyone in my house is asleep…I’ll leave it to you then!

@joanjoyce, So far ok naman ang adsense ko kasi monthly income na talaga sia. Pero i need to learn the secrets more. Affiliates? duh sumasakit ulo ko jan kasi matumal talaga unless na magfocus ka sa isa o dalawang affiliates mas ok. Nangangapa pa din ako pero tsumatsamba sa kakakakapa. Haba ata ahaha.

My goal? I’m moving away from blogging into internet marketing in 2009 or basically, putting into practice what I’ve learned in 2008.
I’ve teamed up with a couple of great people I’ve found online who are on the same page. It’s been great so far and I hope you are closer to your goals too with each passing day.

Wow, you should be a full time blogger or have much time to burn to be able to do all that. I agree with you, we must have goals in different aspects of our life. It would also be better if we can support our goals with strategies… to be able to attain them.

gusto ko yung sinabi mo na increase charity works…goal ko din yan…hehe. maraming taong nangangailangan ng tulong…di dahil tamad cla kundi dahil pinagkaitan cla ng kapalaran…we can all make a difference in the lives of others and that’s one way of doing so…charity…we have to walk our talk though… good luck, ambo!

1. I want to be complete. Gusto kong lumakas overall (mind body and soul).
2. Sleep early din. Early to bed, early to rise, makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise.
3. Read more. So I can write more.
4. Learn SEO.

Stephen Covey’s 7 Habits of Highly Effective People has somewhat changed my outlook in life. If I were you guys and gals, basahin ninyo ito at maraming improvements na mangyayari sa behavior ninyo.
Hmmm,so ano ba goal ko sa 2009? As a blogger, my wish will be:
1. To be included in the top 100 blogs of 2009
2. To be known just like the celebrity bloggers I know in the Blogdom
