One of the fastest growing social networking games is Facebook Farmtown and Farmville. But which one is better? As a facebook user, i play both and i love them both. I am not a fan of online games, but these games are really addicting. In fact, 8 out of 10 friends are playing this farm thing on Facebook. For now, i wouldn’t say which one is best because both of them have comparisons and differences. There are things that you want in Farmtown or Farmville, but not available to the other.
Farmtown graphic looks better than Farmville? Farmville graphic looks cartoonish?
Farmtown has a better graphics. Simple and clean. It has social places to counteract withe fellow farmers such as the Inn, the Marketplace, the realtor’s office. You can even chat and send private messages. Farmville has little sign to leave messages for fellow farmer.
Farmville is a new game by Zinga, who is a successful developer for Facebook and MySpace. They’re behind Mafia Wars, Vampires Wars, YoVille, Football, Gang Wars, Heroes Vs. Villians, Pirates, Space Wars and more. Farmville is putting you in the shoes of a farmer like in Farmtown. You have to plow using the plow tool for making a field and then you buy at the market the seeds you want to plant. You can also put trees, animals, or decorations on your land for obtaining a beautiful farm.
One good thing about Farmtown, you can work for other farmers to increase your coins. There is a marketplace where people meet together. It’s either you hire or you are being hired to work for them.
One bad thing about Farmtown is your time to plant, harvest and plow. It takes too much time to do it one by one for a larger farm. While trucks and other equipments are used in Farmville.
The functionality of Farmville is better than Farmtown as many people think. It may look cartoonish but it’s easier to plant, harvest and plow. You just click and wait. Unlike in Farmtown, you get tired of clicking and waiting, clicking and waiting duh duh duh.

I am enjoying farmville but I got disappointed when it suddenly disappeared.I want farmville to get back so I can continue playing again.I love farmville!…I play everyday!I want it back…pleaseeee!!!

Farmville is the only one of the games who I have played. I think it’s pretty good.

I like both farm town & farmvallie, except that farmville is realy. realy slow in loading up to play!!! can you do something about that?
FARMTOWN!!! FARMVILLE IS BAD
i think they both have advantages but believe that more needs to be done on advancing the game.I have reached level 34 on farmtown and thats it no more upgrades of any sort takes the interest out of the game after that,there are plenty more crops you can grow and lots more upgrades you can come up with.

i love farmtown..
I play neither of them and I chose to block updates from a lot of the facebook games because I noticed that 90% of the front page is often just updates from such games. Now I get to see real updates from my friends, just my preference. Maybe when I’m out of the rat rate and have all the time in the world to bum around, I’ll play these games.
