Typhoon Pepeng with international codename “Parma” slightly weakens. This is the latest report made by the weather bureau PAGASA.
PAGASA chief weather forecaster Nathaniel Cruz said the typhoon hit its maximum strength of 195 kilometers per hour while at sea but has weakened slightly. “It is still a strong typhoon” Cruz said.
Typhoon Pepeng has also slightly changed its course. Instead of the expected landfall in Aurora-Isabela by Saturday evening, Typhoon Pepeng is now threatening to hit Northern Cagayan.
