Kapamilya star and pop princess of Philippine showbiz Sarah Geronimo is the newest endorser of Presidentiable Manny Villar. Sarah is the second in the list of popular celebrities endorsing Villar after Comedy King Dolphy. Sarah Geronimo was allegedly paid a whopping 20M for endorsing the controversial Manny Villar.

Geronimo, on the other hand, said she believes television host-actress Kris Aquino will not take it against her once she learns that she is supporting Villar in the coming May elections. Kris’s brother, Liberal Party (LP) standard bearer Sen. Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III, is currently Villar’s biggest rival in the presidential race – Yahoo

Aside from Sarah Geronimo and Dolphy, Manny Villar also receives endorsement from the Wowowee host Willie Revillame.

Manny Villar is one the Presidential candidates in 2010 Philippine Elections in May. He has the most TV advertisements including his first political ad “Akala Mo“.

I am sure you were just pressured.Prove us wrong by voting for Noynoy in your secret ballot.

  3. HOW, REALLY, DID MANUEL BAMBA VILLAR, JR. GET TO BE RICH? It may bear and serve the Filipino nation well to investigate and know that Manny Villar may actually have broken through from Tondo-ragged accountant to billionaire-rich presidentiable by allowing himself to be used as a foreign investor’s dummy in the Philippine real estate business. You see, the conduct of real estate business in the Philippines is made exclusive by law to Filipino citizens, necessarily because its affairs involve sensitive issues that affect territory, sovereignty, patrimony, and national security. Wasn’t that a debonair American who was smilingly visible every day at the offices of Crown Asia Inc. way back before the Villars became political aspirants? Unfortunately, sighting American presence at the Crown Asia, Inc. organization deteriorates to zero visibility in hot election weather, especially nowadays! As Manny Villar embarked on a political career, it naturally became strategically imperative to avoid flaks of damaging controversy about being beholden to foreign influence, especially from nationalist camps of the likes of then Senator Teofisto Guingona Jr. who was one among legislators instrumental in passing general law limiting real estate business in the Philippines to Filipinos only. In fact, it was from 1997 to 1999 that the bespectacled, middle-aged, happy American investor (silent, fronted, or non-express?) of Crown Asia Inc. was last regularly observed at the 18th Floor of Cityland Herrera Tower. Apart from being born with a silver spoon, most of us often have “humble,” sometimes “rotten,” beginnings; yet being transparent about such beginnings can do more good than harm. The answer may go as far back as Villar’s auditing days at foreign investor-patronized Sycip Gorres Velayo or, perhaps, good Senator Manuel Villar would like to comment on this matter at this time?

A candidate that invest billions of pesos just to get elected to a political post would certainly not be dumb enough just to throw away money. I am dead sure if elected he’ll find ways to recover his money. His tenure in congress and senate have revealed shady deals of the past. What more if he becomes President.

I urgently beg our Country men not to throw away your votes. A lot of people in our country have sacrificed to retain our democratic rights. Lets value it and VOTE FOR THE BEST CANDIDATE WITHIN OUR CONCIENCE. IT IS TIME TO STOP CORRUPTION.

i don't think that we should take it against sarah g for endorsing manny villar. everybody has the right to choose and she choose manny. i don't think di lang ito tungkol sa pera. kris is very influential media person but this should not hinder anyone to publicly announce who they are supporting for.

  9. Whoa, big time talaga si villar.. napakalaki na siguro ng nagastos nun sa kampanya..

    btw, exchange links? :)
