Personally i do not know anything about Jacque Bermejo or Jacqueline Bermejo, but i saw her on Facebook yesterday. She’s an instant celebrity because of her rude and insensitive comments to Typhoon Ondoy victims and the Philippines. Jacque Bermejo wrote a comment in Facebook Group “Definitely Filipino” who made the Filipinos angry with her.
Jacque Bermejo said, “buti n lng am hir in dubai! maybe so many sinners back der! so yeah deserving what happened!”
This undesirable comment is the worst and maybe the most unwelcome while her countrymen are suffering from the chaos of Typhoon Ondoy. Because of the alleged bad statement, Jacque is now receiving threats all over the internet. Her Multiply and Facebook accounts are flooded with criticisms against her. Honestly, i do not know the real account of Jacque Bermejo on Facebook. I tried to make my own research and found out only accounts such as

There are actually two faces of Jacque Bermejo issue.
People believed that it was Jacque Bermejo who made the statement on Facebook. That her previous account on Facebook’s real and not hacked (now was reportedly deleted). She’s now claiming that her Facebook account was hacked and somebody posted that comment and not her. If this is real, it’s the only way to escape she can do.
People claimed that it wasn’t actually Jacque. Her Facebook account was hacked and now she’s a victim of fraud account. Someone named Roxy from Yahoo Answers said,
I worked with her for almost a year. I sent her a message as soon as I read about her in FB and I feel sorry for her because she’s a victim of a fraud FB account. She was crying on the phone and is now so afraid to go out because of all the hate messages she’s been getting the whole day. I don’t know how some people can find time to create a fake account just to damage another person. Mind you, Jacque and I are not that close but I feel the need to clear her name because I can just imagine how scared she is right now. Everybody hates her for a comment she never made.

If the issue is real, Jacque Bermejo deserves all the criticisms on the internet. We can’t take this for granted or giveher the benefit of the doubt. We pity her and we consider her as the worst disaster in the Philippines than Typhoon Ondoy.

Sana di naman sya masyadong husgahan ng tao. Kung marketing executive sya sa Dubai malamang di sya ganun magsalita ng Ingles. May mga tao naman talagang gumagamit ng ibang photos ng ibang tao at saka gumagawa ng fake account. Di ko kilala si Jacqueline Bermejo pero tingin ko di naman sya dapat husgahan ng ganun. Filipina pa rin sya.

Lets attend first to our kababayan in need. Whether it was her or not, who cares!? lets not place this issue on top of Filipinos in deep trouble nowadays. Yeah ladies.. grow up! Her stupid comments does not feed hungry Filipinos in floaded areas – to hate her does not help the country too.

Pati na po magdasal since meron na naman pong bagyo na darating. Yun lang po.

Here is my opinion (if you’re interested):
She’s guilty. Why now? why didn’t she report to FB staff about the “hacking” before this happened. Anyway, if it’s proven (after the IP address is traced when that infamous comment was written) that it’s not hers, then I’d say she’s indeed innocent as she claims.
And for her friends who support her… haven’t you red a comment in your FB wall, at any point, that you find insensitive or simply disagreeable? This could be one of those, but this time… it just went overboard, big time! But Jacque can’t take it back, she already said it… now she’s paying the price and is repairing the damage by simply denying it… and so far, she might just pull this through. tsk tsk tsk… she must have learned a great deal of lesson here. I’m not judging her, most of us must’ve done worse than this, but her action (comment) is uncalled for and will never be excused.
