The Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) leadership has endorsed Mayor Rodrigo Duterte for President and BongBong Marcos for Vice-President according to People’s Television (PTV) Facebook page on Wednesday, May 4, 2016.
PTV wrote:
“BREAKING NEWS: Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) leadership endorses Presidentiable Rody Duterte and Vice Presidentiable BongBong Marcos to its members. A credible source, who refuses to be named due to lack of authority to speak on the matter, told PTV that the sample ballot below was shown to their members during their Wednesday “Pagsamba.”
The said post also showed sample ballot to be used by INC members including the list of candidates running as senators.
Last week, INC denied endorsing a candidate for the upcoming elections despite the earlier confirmation of Sen. Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and the viral letter ‘tagubilin’ endorsing Duterte.
UPDATE: According to PA source, the Iglesia ni Cristo leadership announced its anointed candidates at their worship service on Wednesday night, May 4.
