A 19-year-old beautiful girl was caught in CCTV after shoplifting around P10,000 worth of clothes and accessories from a boutique shop in Mandaue City on Tuesday, August 12, 2014.
The suspect was identified as Jobelle Bascug from Southern Leyte. She managed to leave the store but left the clothes she wore along with a boat ticket with her name on it.
Sales personnel then search her name on Facebook and confirmed that she’s the girl who shoplifted from their boutique.
The shop owner, Jessa Romagos, contacted Bascug and she agreed to pay the said amount. Romagos will still file charges against the young woman to teach her a lesson.
Aksyon5 Cebu reported the incident and shown the photo of Bascug on television. Apparently, the suspect has also previously victimized other shops with the same style.
Netizens has now dubbed her as the “Most Beautiful Shoplifter in Cebu.”
