It’s confirmed. News came out that withdrawal from Paypal account to Philippine Bank Accounts is now accepted. Let me tell you, i have a Bad news and good news for you.
First the good news. Withdrawing funds from Paypal to your bank accounts in the Philippines will be completed after 5-7 business days. Take note *business days*. The cost of transaction is FREE for Php7,000.00 or more and it will only cost you Php50.00 if your withdrawal is Php6,000.00 or less. See the convenience now? And saving too! No need to enroll for a debit card! Not anymore.

The bad news. I just made a withdrawal 4 days ago to my Union Bank’s account. Of course i was charged $5.00 for that transaction. Imagine just 2 days after the announcement!
If you want to try, just log-in to your Paypal account now!
Note: See OFFICIAL PayPal Bank Codes (withdraw to Philippine banks).

Ambo,
kahapon ko pa nabasa tong post mo… I just checked today and it’s true, the charge is $5. I think for small earnings from blogging, this is a high rate. If perhaps you’re withdrawing some $500, I think it’s just fine but below $50, the charge is exorbitant.
jessie’s last blog post..Linky Love to Blogger-Friends
Yes Jessie. That’s why bloggers are so happy to hear that bank account in the Philippines is now accepted by paypal. Wala ng malaking charges except for the Php50.00 if you withdraw 6,999 or less. Or depends on your bank’s policy if they still collect other fees from your transaction. But i think maliit lang yun kesa sa $5.00.
The $5.00 is charged if you use debit/credit for withdrawal.
by the way, what’s an EON card?
Kotsengkuba’s last blog post..All things white and wonderful
Eon card from Union Bank yan kapatid. It’s a debit card.
aba’t hokey pala ire ane? kaso dun sa verification parin magkakaproblema kung wala kang debit/credit card. same thing same thing… hehehe
Kotsengkuba’s last blog post..All things white and wonderful
Gagamitin mo lang ung debit/credit just to verify your account. malaking katipiran yun sa mga taga Pinas.
Sorry to hear that you’re getting charged this amount. But at least you know the money is safe

Yes Joyce. Try to log in then choose bank account. Be careful.
If you have a credit card pwede naman yan. If not, eon card ka na lang. Para makawithdraw ka, u need to be verified muna by using your eon card.
ganyan ang buhey … may bad, may good

I’ll blog (rant) about it.
Did you try to contact their hotline dadimon? In my case inaraw araw ko ang customer service nila hanggang maactivate account ko. Anyways, much better if you just use your bank account for paypal. If you have credit card, pwede mo ng gamitin un to get a verified account. if not, just wait your eon card activated.
ambo ano number ng customer service nila? i was calling 84-186 pero not yet in service sinasabi. i called 892-0111 kaso naca cut naman ang line. is this a reflection of their customer service?

Just wait till its over P7000 so you don’t get charged. But if you do need the money, P50 is not bad – but definitely not $5 buraot.

iRonnie’s last blog post..Sweeney Todd
Anyway you can use it to other transactions online Ronnie. I remember we used to talk about it 2 days ago.
Verified account ka naman na yata Ronnie. So no need to use the eon since you are using your credit card. You can use your bank account na to withdraw from paypal.
i really dont see any need for it now na pwede ng i withdraw sa local banks ang paypal. i applied eon online and now di ko alam paano ipapa cancel. hahaha! i tried contacting them online and via phone pero walang kwenta.
iRonnie’s last blog post..Sweeney Todd
Ronnie kung verified account naman na ang paypal mo, wag mo ng ituloy yang eon mo haha. all you need to do is to apply your bank account sa kanila.
Ronnie ask ko lang, do u receive email when a comment is added here? curious lang ako.
i do.
