Philippine’s bet to Miss Universe, Mary Jean Lastimosa, has won another title. She was named People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) Philippines’ 2014 Sexiest Vegetarian Celebrity.
Lastimosa outwit other celebrity candidates like singer-actress Geneva Cruz, Miss Earth-Air 2009 Sandra Seifert, model Amanda Griffin Jacob, actress Chin-Chin Gutierrez and Maricel Laxa-Pangilinan.
“There’s no easier way to put passion in your life than by putting compassion in your diet.”
“MJ knows that going vegetarian is the best thing that you can do for animals, the earth and your health. Plus, she’s living proof that being vegetarian helps keep you slim and sexy,” said PETA Asia vice president Jason Baker.
Lastimosa will represent the country in the 63rd Miss Universe beauty pageant to be held in Miami Florida, USA on Sunday, Jan. 25, 2015.
