Ang Ika-Labing Tatlong Numero
Right after Glorietta bombing i received this message saying;
13 days after Pacquiao’s victory against Eric Morales, happened the Wowowie Stampede that killed 66 people. That’s on February 04, 2006.
13 days after Pacquiao’s victory against Oscar Larios on July 2, 2006, the Mayon Volcano erupted and many died in the mudflow.
13 days after Pacquiao’s victory against Antonio Barrera, the Glorietta 2 explosion occurred that killed 11 innocent people and left 119 others injured.
If i may add, last night i saw the actual video of bombing at the G2. One of the camera’s recorded the time, and it was 13:31 (military time) when the bomb exploded. I don’t know what’s really behind the message. Is it evil or just a mere co-incidence?
Bakit nga ba pagkatapos manalo na ating Pambansang Kamao, trahedya naman ang kapalit after 13 days? Ano nga bang meron sa Number 13 at kinatatakutan ito? Here are some facts.
1. Some Christian traditions have it that at the Last Supper, Judas Iscariot, the disciple who betrayed Jesus, was the 13th to sit at the table.
2. Thirteen is regarded as an unlucky number in many cultures. Fear of the number 13 is termed triskaidekaphobia and fear of Friday the 13th is termed Paraskevidekatriaphobia.
3. The thirteenth of a month is likewise ominous, particularly when it falls on a Friday in some English-speaking cultures, Russia and Germany.
4. The number 13 also is very unlucky at hotels. In some hotels the 13th floor and the room number 13 are excluded.
5. In Scotland, there is no terminal 13 in any airport, instead there is a terminal 12B.
6. At the Universal Studios sound stages in California, there is no sound stage numbered 13.
7. Microsoft plans to skip Office 13 for being “an unlucky number,” going directly from Office 12 to Office 14.
8. On streets in Florence, Italy, the house between 12 and 14 is addressed as 12 1/2.
9. Saddam Hussein, whose name contains 13 letters and was captured on December 13th.
10. In Tarot, the number 13 is the card of death.
11. The Apollo 13 is considered as a jinxed mission. There are many reasons why it is considered unlucky. First, it was called the Apollo 13, or it was Apollo’s 13th mission. Also the Apollo was planned to be launched on the 13th day of the month, at the 13th hour of the day, and at the 13th minute of the hour. After the crew of the Apollo 13 broadcasted there mission, everything went wrong, and it was April 13. That’s why a lot of people thought the Apollo 13 was a jinxed mission.
12. Alexander the Great wanted to be a God and, accordingly, had a 13th statue erected on the place of his capital. He died shortly thereafter.
13. Joseph Estrada, the 13th President of the Philippines.
In the movie, “The Omen” is a terrifying film about these issues and much more. For centuries some Christians have expected and feared the appearance on earth of a monster of chaos — the Antichrist. The Bible contains many passages referring to this destroyer, one of the most poignant is found in Revelation 13,
And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
For whatever reasons some people consider 13 unlucky or lucky, we should not forget that only God could tell us when these things will happen. Ngunit kung sadyang pagkakataon nga ang lahat, bakit ang numerong ito ay may kabuntot na malas? Ang sabi ng iba, ito daw ay numero ng Diablo.

nung nilooban kmi ng robbers recently, it happened on the 13th of June of this year. about sa text message, i don’t know if it’s a coincidence pero that was scary the fact that it happened 13 days after pacquiaos victory.

I think they were purely coincidental, we never know. I believe in the number 13, for businesses, esp for Chinese, they avoid 13th floor. I mean there is a 13 floor kaso it’s hidden or no available elevator (you take off at either the 14th or 12th for the staircase). Bad luck? If you are supertitious, pwede.
BTW, I live in the 13th floor Apartment. So far, wala pa namang bad luck, strange things can happen anytime *knock on da wood*.
The last photo is similar to the Pan’s Labyrinth movie. Did you watch it? And oh, I like scary movies.

ambo ha! takutan ba talaga before halloween?! shet! pero in fairness, ang number 13th sa akin a very lucky kaya wala akong fear on the 13th. dahil din sa devotee rin ako ng mama mary, she first apppeared to the children of Fatima on May 13th and subsequent months after that, laging on the 13th siya nag-aapear. Safe ang feeling ko sa number 13. Another thing is - may kasabihan, “you attract what you fear” - kaya huwag kayong matakot.
