]]> NBC’s singing competition “The Voice” is bringing back all original coaches Christina Aguilera and CeeLo Green for season 5 this fall, NBC announced in a statement o on Friday, May 17.

Also announced that Adam Levine and Blake Shelton, who have been on the show since the beginning will be reunited in the red chairs with Aguilera and Green.

Meanwhile, Shakira and Usher will also be back for season 6 which is slated for a midseason launch following the 2014 Winter Olympics. Levine and Shelton will remain as coaches.

“I am so thrilled that our ‘Voice’ family has grown from four coaches to six,” said executive producer Mark Burnett. “The coaching panel of Christina, CeeLo, Adam and Blake was at the heart of this show in its first three seasons and we are so lucky to have found equal success with Shakira and Usher in season 4. Our best seasons are ahead of us.”

The Voice Season 4 averages 14.5 million total viewers and a 5.2 rating among the ad-coveted adults 18 to 49 demo on Monday nights. For the Tuesday edition, the show draws 13.4 million viewers and a 4.7 rating.

The Voice wraps up season four June 18.

Candice, a St. Helena Island, South Carolina native joined Idol for the third time. During American Idol 2013 audition, she got standing ovations from the judges. She also impressed the four judges during Hollywood Week with her own rendition of Alicia Keys’s “Girl On Fire.”

Last night, she performed three songs: “Chasing Pavements” by Adele, her coronation single “I Am Beautiful” and “I Who Have Nothing” by Ben E. King.

Congratulations to Candice for winning and to Kree Harrison for making it all the way to the finale.

Binay was not seen at the ceremonies that formally proclaim the winning candidates as Senators. All other Senator-elects were present including Grace Poe, Loren Legarda, Alan Peter Cayetano, Francis Escudero, and Sonny Angara.

According to COMELEC Chairman Sixto Brillantes, Binay only “sent word she wouldn’t be arriving.”

Binay is the daughter of Vice President Jejomar Binay, placed fifth based on the certificates of canvass tallied by the Commission on Elections.
