And people forget that outside of her being able to sing, she’s an incredible performer. She loves to dance. It’s a little funny talking to her because we talk about dance and she always shows me her moves.”

Floyd Mayweather Apologizes for Racist Comment on Manny Pacquiao (Video)

Floyd Mayweather video racist comment against Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao hits the web today. The four-minute video recorded in UStream received a lot of negative comments against Mayweather.

Some of the racist comments from Mayweather, “cook him up with some barbecued dog” and “cook that yellow chump” and “I’ll make that mother f**ker make me a sushi roll and cook me some rice” and “this mother f**cker’s name is Emmanuel. He got a fake name, taking power pellets”.

This time the bad Mayweather excuses himself from the irate press, media and boxing fans all over the world.

He said,
“I didn’t really mean. I do want to apologize for what happened the other night. I want to apologize to everybody because everybody thought that it was a racist comment that I said. I don’t have a racist bone in my body. I have nothing but love for everybody. Some of my guys are Muslim, some of my guys are Jews. Puerto Ricans, Dominicans, whites, it doesn’t matter. I got nothing but love in my heart. All i want to say is, if anybody was affected from what I said the other day, I apologize as a man. I was just having fun. I didn’t really mean it.”

But before the apology, he said that Mayweather vs. Pacquiao can still happen. He also cleared that Pacquiao will never win the fight.

Floyd Mayweather’s Video Racist Comment on Manny Paquiao

Floyd Mayweather is in the spotlight again after a video of him hits the web talking “nonsense” against Filipino boxer Manny Pacquiao. The four-plus-minute Ustream video posted this morning, people have noticed the racist remarks made by Mayweather.

In his video, he called Pacquiao as “midget” several times because of his short height and he criticized the Filipino fighter’s record and predicted that when he finally does fight Pacquiao -something the boxing world has clamored for – the bout will be a “cakewalk.”

Mayweather uttered racist comments against Pacquiao saying that after he beats him (if the fight takes place) he will force him to “make some sushi rolls and cook some rice.” Then he adds: “we’re going to cook him with some cats and dogs.”

He continued on his criticism that Pacquiao isn’t savvy in business, with Mayweather announcing, “I wore Reebok for three weeks for $1 million,” and said Pacquiao’s locked into a longer deal with Nike for “seven g’s.”

Pacquiao reviewed Mayweather’s video said, “The video speaks for itself.”

Angelica Panganiban’s Legal Counsel Demand Letter to Claudine Barretto

A final demand letter was issued by Angelica Panganiban’s legal counsel to Claudine Barretto. The letter is about the false accusations and grave threats by Barretto against Panganiban.

The issue started on social networking site Twitter where Claudine posted tweets against Angelica.

“Dear Ms. Barretto:

“We are writing on behalf of our client, Ms. Angelica Panganiban.

“Our client referred to us the matter of your making false accusations against her in print, television and internet media, as well as your acts of making grave threats against her life and well-being.

“In particular, we have gathered that you posted on your Twitter Account about a traitor friend, who has allegedly been saying malicious things about you and your family. In a subsequent interview, you identified the person you were referring to in your “tweets”, to be Ms. Panganiban. You likewise accused Ms. Panganiban, in your other interviews, of spreading rumors that you are having an illicit affair with a certain Mr. Martin Castro and that Ms. Panganiban is out to ruin Mr. Derek Ramsay and Mr. Castro’s friendship. You further accused Ms. Panganiban of spreading rumors that Mr. Castro is a drug-addict.

“Contrary to your baseless accusations, our client has not done any of the things you have accused her of. She has not committed anything wrong, much less, maligned you or any member of your family. On the contrary, it is our client who is being maligned by your unfounded accusations. You have placed our client’s reputation and good name in a bad light, in the eyes of the public. Your malicious statements have unduly exposed our client to public hatred and contempt and have caused derogatory feelings against her.

“We have further gathered that on 8 August 2010, you called Ms. Panganiban and threatened her in this manner, “[P]apatayin kita. Wawasakin ko mukha mo. You don’t deserve to live. Suntukan tayo ngayon na.” You likewise conveyed this threat against the life of Ms. Panganiban to no less than Ms. Mariole Alberto, Head of Star Magic, when you said “Wawasakin ko ang mukha niya pag nagkita kami Tita.”

“Your threat against the life of our client, which was not made in jest, is a grave threat punishable under our penal laws.

“Let this, therefore, serve as a FINAL DEMAND on you to immediately cease from making any more false accusations and damaging remarks against our client, and to stop threatening her life and well-being.

“We likewise hereby demand a retraction from you of your libelous and slanderous statements, to correct the negative impression created in the minds of the people who have read or heard your statements against our client. Should you fail to do so within seven (7) days from receipt of this letter, we shall be constrained to take whatever legal action necessary to protect the interests of our client.

“We trust that this merits your preferential attention.

Gloria Diaz Won’t Apologize to Cebuanos

Miss Universe 1969 Gloria Diaz will not say sorry to Cebuanos for her comment to English speaking ability of the natives, TV Patrol reports. She said the Cebuanos should say sorry because some of them just misinterpreted her comment.

The other day, Diaz was declared persona non grata or unwelcome by the Vice Mayors League of The Philippines-Cebu in reaction to Venus Raj’s answer to Miss Universe 2010.

“I think (Venus) thinks in Tagalog and answers in English. I can relate to that because I used to think in English and answer in Tagalog, and it was very difficult for me… When you think about (it), a Cebuana can hardly speak English and, of course, Tagalog. Maybe she should answer in Bisaya.”

Senator Serge Osmena who hails from Cebu defended Diaz. He said that the reported resolution filed by the league of Vice-Mayors is an overreaction.

“I feel sorry for Gloria. I’m a thousand percent sure she was misunderstood… It’s impossible for Gloria to downgrade Cebuanos. You know why? Her boyfriend of 12 years, who is my nephew, is a Cebuano.”

Malacanang has declared September 10, 2010 a non-working holiday for the celebration for the end of our Muslim brothers and sister’s Ramadan.

Presidential spokesman Edwin Lacierda said President Benigno Simeon Aquino III has signed Proclamation 26, declaring September 10 as a non-working holiday as Muslims celebrate the “Eid ul-Fitr,” or the festivities for the end of Ramadan – Gmanews.tv reports.

Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic lunar calendar. Every day during this month, Muslims around the world spend the daylight hours in a complete fast. It began on August 11 this year and will end on September 10.

Video of a Girl Throwing Live Puppies into River

An unknown woman has become the topic in the internet for throwing live puppies in a rapid moving river. The video was posted in Youtube shows a young girl with a bucket holding six puppies. She picks them up one at a time and throws each one into a river and she can clearly be heard saying “weeee”.

The 43-seconds video was filmed by the girl’s brother who uploaded the video and removed in Youtube because of its content.

The identity of the teenage girl is still under investigation. Meanwhile, a Facebook group has been created which has more than 5000 members and already received numerous angry comments against the teenage girl. Some of the members said, the woman is allegedly from Bosnian town.

Gloria Diaz Banned in Cebu | Major-Major Mistake

Gloria Diaz has been banned in Cebu and declared as “persona non grata” (personally unacceptable or unwelcome). The Vice Mayors League of The Philippines-Cebu condemned Ms. Diaz’s comment in a TV interview allegedly insults Cebuano’s capability in speaking in English.

The controversial statement of Miss Universe 1969 was in fact a question about Miss Philippines Venus Raj answer to Miss Universe 2010.

In an interview with TV Patrol last week she said,
“I think (Venus) thinks in Tagalog and answers in English. I can relate to that because I used to think in English and answer in Tagalog, and it was very difficult for me… When you think about (it), a Cebuana can hardly speak English and, of course, Tagalog. Maybe she should answer in Bisaya.”

Diaz, in the same ABS-CBN interview on August 28, was shocked with how people reacted to her statement.

“Everybody was so angry… I thought they’re gonna stone me to death,” she said, laughing. “I want to just make people realize it is just, you know, say it with whatever you’re comfortable with.”

The League also demanded public apology from Diaz.
