X Factor Philippines has revealed the results of the Top 9 contestants on Sunday night, August 26, 2012. This week, Modesto Taran from Cagayan de Oro was eliminated after his battle performance with Gary Valenciano’s group Takeoff.

Judges Gary V., Charice and even his own mentor Pilita Corales chose the 55-year old to go home. The remaining Top 8 acts will continue to perform live next week. They are the following:
