Last Sunday, August 19, another X Factor Philippines contestant was sent home. Girl group named ‘A.K.A. Jam‘ mentored by Gary Valenciano was eliminated after their battle performance with ‘Daddy’s Home‘ on the bottom two.

Daddy’s Home performed an Original Pilipino Music (OPM) by Rey Valera “Maging Sino Ka Man” while A.K.A. Jam performed their own rendition of Brandy’s hit song “Missing You.”

Judges Charice and Martin Nievera chose Daddy’s Home while Pilita and Gary Valenciano believed A.K.A. Jam should go home. It’s a deadlock. The scores revealed that A.K.A. Jam received 4.42% while Daddy’s Home got 5.53% of the total votes.

Next week, the remaining acts, Top 9, will perform live. They are:
