Timothy Bradley shocked the world when he won a controversial split decision win over Manny Pacquiao Saturday, June 9, 2012 at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas.

Bradley won the World Boxing Organization (WBO) welterweight championship belt, when two judges scored the fight 115-113 for Bradley, while the other judge had Pacquiao winning, 115-113.

Bradley came out like a house on fire, but Pacquiao dominated the middle rounds. But Bradley seemed to steal the last three rounds to get the nod of the judges.

“I got my second wind about the sixth round,” said Bradley, who added that his team was confident about his chances. “My corner felt like we were winning the fight.”

During the interview, Manny Pacquiao said, “Absolutely.” But he also stated, “It’s part of the game. I accept that whole-heartedly. I did my best, but my best wasn’t good enough.”
