ABS-CBN network is bringing America’s reality talent show “The Voice” in the country. It will be named “The Voice of Philippines“. ABS-CBN acquired the rights of the franchise back in 2011 after the success of “The Voice” in U.S. The Philippines was then listed as one of the countries who bought the rights for the franchise as posted in the website of Talpa.

Direk Lauren Dyogi confirmed on Twitter the audition dates and venues and they are starting with North America. His tweet, “@Direklauren – The voice of Philippines auditions in LA on sept 15 n in SF sept 16!”

Audition Dates and Venues:

Sept. 15 – Island Pacific Panorama Branch
Sept. 16 – Great America

Here’s how to join:

  • You must be (16) sixteen years old by Oct. 1, 2012.
  • Identification and a copy of birth certificate.
  • Prepare (2) two songs for your open call audition. You may not perform both but have them ready.
  • You must have Filipino ancestry.
  • Only a Cappella is allowed at the audition.
  • No background tracks.
  • Bring one close up and one full body photo.
  • No instruments.
  • Family, friends and coaches are not allowed at the audition. If your under 18, (1) one parent or guardian will be allowed.
  • Dress appropriately in a style that represents you.
