Marielle Montellano, dubbed as the “Singing Voice Actress of Cebu,” impressed the judges with her rendition of “Bakit” by Imelda Papin on It’s Showtime singing competition “Tawag Ng Tanghalan” on Friday, June 10, 2016.
After her performance, the Cebu belter earned praises from the judges with her beautiful version of the song. Judge Rey Valera even called her as the ‘new teleserye theme song queen.’
On Saturday, June 11, results of the quarterly semi-finals will be revealed. Two from the five contestants will join Maricel Callo and Mary Gidget Dela Llana in the grand finals.
