The X Factor UK audition will begin on Wednesday, July, 8, following the two-day absence of Simon Cowell. Auditions were originally scheduled in Manchester last Monday, but were cancelled because the death of Simon’s mother, Julie.
“We can confirm that The X Factor auditions scheduled for Tuesday have been canceled,” said a spokesman for Syco Entertainment on Monday. “We will now start auditions in Manchester on Wednesday and Thursday this week.”
Simon will attend the auditions on both days, after the cancellation of Monday’s and Tuesday’s auditions.
Simon will be joined by fellow judges Rita Ora, Nick Grimshaw and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini as well as the new hosts Olly Murs and Caroline Flack.
