Broadway star Lea Salonga said Darren Espanto should have won The Voice Kids Philippines but also believed the winner Lyca Gairanod is very good.
That was the reaction of Salonga after she watched the video of Sarah Geronimo and Darren Espanto perform the hit Nicki Minaj, Ariana Grande and Jessie J song “Bang Bang.”
Geronimo and Espanto’s video was uploaded on YouTube by Viva Entertainment last Friday. The following day, Salonga retweeted the video with caption, “An awesome Bang Bang by @JustSarahG and #DarrenEspanto. Dare I say it, he should’ve won The Voice Kids. Haaaaay.”
Salonga’s followers immediately agreed with her comment but some also expressed concern that Lyca might get hurt over her judgment.
