Joniver Robles is Out, Rita Martinez on The Voice Philippines Live Shows! Watch Coach Bamboo’s Announcement (VIDEO)

Coach Bamboo Manalac has announced that Joniver Robles will no longer be part of ‘The Voice of the Philippines’ on Sunday, January 18 episode of the show.

“After much deliberation, napag-usapan ni Joniver at ng programa na (Joniver and the show agreed) it’s best for him not to continue with the show due to personal reasons for Joniver,” said Bamboo without giving any other details.

According to Bamboo, he consulted with format owner Talpa on the replacement for Robles, if any. He said Talpa consultant Philbert Braat told him, “The one who should replace Joniver is the one who he battled with in the Knockouts.”

Robles performed together with Martinez and Karlo Mojica, who was selected to perform to the live shows. This meant Martinez would get the slot vacated by Robles.

After the show, Joniver immediately took to his social media account and wrote on Facebook:

“I NEED HELP. To all my supporters….specially friends and love ones…to my Mom. I didnt know what to do and not hearing anything from my coach and teammates or anyone from the show made wait until tonight. IT WAS TAKEN AWAY FROM ME. Myself.. being in that show is “personal” itself ….I’ve been struggling and doing this all my life and always wanted to perform in a worldwide stage. I will never exchange this opportunity for anything. I am saying this because these people can always make up lies to be used against me.”
