Jodi Sta. Maria is nominated in the Best Actress category at the 44th International Emmy Awards for her role as “Amor Powers” in ABS-CBN’s 2015 television remake of “Pangako Sa ‘Yo.”
The 34-year-old Kapamilya actress will compete against Christiane Paul from Germany (“Unterm Rada”), Grazi Massafera from Brazil (“Verdades Secretas”) and British actress Judi Dench for her role in BBC One’s Christmas offering “Roald Dahl’s Esio Trot.”
Aside from Sta. Maria, ABS-CBN network also earned a nomination in the Best Telenovela category for 2015 series “Bridges of Love” starring Paulo Avelino, Maja Salvador and Jericho Rosales.
The 44th International Emmy Awards will take place this November 21, at the Hilton New York.
