He is Sean Miley Moore. The 24-year-old singer revealed his mom is actually Filipino and that she has influenced his love for music. He was raised in Thailand and Indonesia. He and his family moved to Australia in 2003.

Sean had formal training in performance as student at the Western Australia Academy of Performing Arts in Perth. He decided to audition for “The X Factor UK” to get to know more about his British heritage.

Last night, Sean impressed the judges with his version of “California Dreamin'” by The Mamas and the Papas.

Nick Grimshaw said it was the perfect song for him. “I was told the brief was reinvention, and you reinvented that song,” he added. “I thought you doing classic songs is great because you’re a classic performer. You put your own spin on it and I was totally captivated. It’s not something you see on talent shows – it’s something you see at the Grammys or the Brit Awards or the VMAs.”

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini was also impressed, saying she was “spellbound”. “For me, from the moment you one on that stage you compose yourself and you perform with every ounce of our body from the start to end of the performance. That is the sign of a true professional performer”.

Simon Cowell, “Seann, you have an amazing presence, a spectacular voice, but that was lazy. This is a chance to discover who you want to be as an artist – you have a shot, but you have to do tracks what nobody else will do. That was you being safe”.
