Duets has just announced the latest eliminated contestant on Wednesday night, June 20, 2012. Jordan Meredith was the third contestant to be eliminated on the show. Last week it was Meleana Brown while Alexis Foster was eliminated on June 7.

The bottom two this week were Jordan Meredith and again Jason Farol. They earned the lowest ranking of the night. The two had to go head-to-head without their celebrity partners in a solo, a capella round.

Jordan belted out “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Goin” while Jason performed “Mama Knows Best.” Watch their showdown below.

According to the judges:

Kelly Clarkson, “That’s why I picked them both.” Robin Thicke, “This show is just the beginning of your careers.” John Legend, “You guys have so much room to grow. Jason you have so much light inside of you and you just keep on giving it off. Jordan that was a great song choice.” Jennifer Nettlesm, “I’m always blown away by this part of the show.”

What do you think of the result?

Fil-American Jason Farol performed “Come What May” from Moulin Rouge together with Kelly Clarkson on tonight’s episode of “Duets“. Once again, Jason was pitchy and breathy but overall performance was great!

According to the judges:

Jennifer Nettles: “You guys looked hot. You can be in musical theater.”

Robin Thicke: “Jason you look like a young Hugh Hefner.”

John Legend: “I think you looked great together. Most of the song was too low for you.”

J. Rome together with Jennifer Nettles performed a Whitney Houston song “I Will Always Love You” on June 20 episode of “Duets” Wednesday night.

According to the judges:

Kelly Clarkson: “If I didn’t have my heels on. You are so good. I love you. Robin Thicke: “There’s a reason you’ve been number 1 every week.” John Legend: “It was really awesome. Well done.”

The judges said: Kelly Clarkson, “That song just doesn’t really go anywhere for me. Other than that I loved it.” Jennifer Nettles, “I’m going to give you a yes m’am. I forget I was supposed to be judging.” Robin Thicke, “You have this amazing spirit. You’re best performance. Fearless. This is the first time I totally disagreed with Kelly. This was a good song that worked well as a duet.”
