Eat Bulaga’s ‘Tamang Panahon’ charity concert on Saturday smashed the world Twitter records again!
The noontime show’s hashtag #ALDubEBTamangPanahon recorded more than 39 million tweets as of midnight, breaking the 35.6 million register of 2014 Fifa World Cup semi-final match between Germany and Brazil.
The onscreen couple ‘AlDub,’ comprise of Alden Richards and Maine ‘Yaya Dub’ Mendoza gathered million of fans during their fourth meeting at the world’s largest indoor arena, the Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan.
AlDub concert was able to raise P14 million to be used on library projects in three pre-selected beneficiary schools, each in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
According to AlDub nation official statisticians, #ALDubEBTamangPanahon gathered a total of 39,522,300 tweets by 12 am Sunday, breaking its previous all-time high record of 26 million for the #ALDubEBforLOVE during the September 26 episode.
