Apparently Alden only wanted to watch the ‘Juan for All’ segment, where Yaya Dub appears with Lola Nidora.
“Sinabi ko lang, ‘upo kaya ako ‘Juan for All’ gusto ko lang mapanuod sa stage. Sabi nila, ‘Alden standby ka, i-pu-put on naming sa’yo ang camera,” he narrates to Rosa Garcia of Pep.ph.
Their chemistry was accidentally discovered when Yaya Dub accidentally saw Alden Richards watching her through the monitor, and the rest is history.
‘AlDub’ love team was first introduced on July 16, 2015. The onscreen loveteam has reportedly brought 20 percent higher TV ratings to the show.
