Philippine Veteran actor Johnny Delgado died at 1:20PM today. It was confirmed by Ruffa Gutierrez and Lea Salonga on their Twitter account. Johnny Delgado was diagnosed with lymphoma, or cancer of the lymph nodes last year.
Last February, SNN news interviewed Delgado and according to him, “Okay na ako. Ang laki ng improvement. Lumabas na ang mga result, okay na okay naman,” he said. “’Yong mga cancer sisirain ang organ, luckily walang nasira sa aking organ — liver, kidney, heart or lungs.”
Johnny Delgado was born on February 29, 1948 in Manila, Philippines. His real name is “Juan Marasigan Feleo”, husband of Laurice Guillen and the father of Ina Feleo. He is an actor and a writer. He is the husband of well-respected director Laurice Guillen.
