Nightmare On Elm Street Movie has officially announced its remake on 2010. Freddy Krueger is back! The new film played by Jackie Earle Haley as Freddy Krueger.
Freddy Krueger is a serial child molester who is murdered and then returns as a crispy critter to terrorize teens in their dreams.
The remake of the Nightmare On Elm Street was a 1984 classic directed by Wes Craven aims to keep the high school setting and delve deeper in the psychology of nightmares and Freddy Krueger himself.
The film is being directed by first-time filmmaker Samuel Bayer who got his start directing commercials, also stars Rooney Mara, Kyle Gallner, Thomas Dekker, Kellan Lutz, Katie Cassidy and Connie Britton.
Nightmare on Elm Street will be shown on April 26, 2010.
