Shoe factory worker from Vermont, Nicole Nelson, performed her powerful rendition of Leonard Cohen’s beautiful folk ballad “Hallelujah” during The Voice Season 3 blind audition on Wednesday night, September 12. The crowd loved her performance and she’s really good!
Adam Levine was the first to turn around while the other three judges followed suit as Nelson really began to belt out the iconic lyrics. Aguilera told Nelson, “That was gorgeous. Thank you waking me up and exciting me. That’s what this compeition is about. You have something so magical.”
