Bruno Mars arrived in the Philippines for a two-night concert

Half-Pinoy singer Bruno Mars arrived in the Philippines, Thursday, April 7, 2011 to perform a two-night concert.

According to ABS-CBN correspondent, Mars arrived in Cebu City for his first day concert at Cebu Waterfront Hotel at 7 tonight. The “Grenade” singer is also set to perform the following day, April 8, at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

Bruno Mars is excited to perform for his Pinoy fans as posted in his official Twitter account. He tweeted, “”I don’t think Cebu knows how excited I am about playing tonight.. I just did 16 sit ups and drank a gallon of Red Bull. #Buckle Up!”

Mars became popular as a solo artist after sharing his vocals and co-writing the hooks for the songs “Nothin’ on You” by B.o.B, and “Billionaire” by Travie McCoy.

His debut album was released in October 2010 called Doo-Wops & Hooligans. Anchored by the singles “Just the Way You Are” and “Grenade“.
