English singer-songwriter Adele is set to perform at the 54th Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on February 12, making her first appearance after her vocal cord surgery, the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences confirmed on Tuesday.

“It’s an absolute honor to be included in such a night, and for it to be my first performance in months is very exciting and of course nerve-racking,” the ‘Someone Like You’ singer said in a statement.

The 23-year-old singer also announced the news on Twitter: “Ima be, Ima be singing at the Grammys. It’s been so long I started to forget I was a singer! I can’t wait, speak soon xx”

Appearing with Adele at the Grammy Awards are top acts including Coldplay, Rihanna, Bruno Mars, Paul McCartney, Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift.

She is also expected to perform at the BRIT Awards, Britain’s top music accolades, in London on February 21.
