Metro Manila Film Festival or MMFF is the annual film festival held in Manila. The festival, which runs from the 25th of December to the first week of January, focuses on locally-produced films.
During the film festival, no foreign movies are shown in the entire country. Only movies approved by the jurors of the MMFF will be shown. One of the festival highlights is the parade of floats during the opening of the festival. The movies produced and made for this year are indeed entertaining and at the same time have that pinoy quality that good pinoy films are known to have. Filipinos, rich or poor, love watching movies to relax and break free from stress.
As a person who maintains a blog dedicated for 80′s pinoy movies, tv programs and commercials, I value the importance of quality pinoy movies that will not only give us entertainment but will also live a mark in our hearts. As they say, you cannot turn back time. But thanks to good quality pinoy movies, tv programs and commercials that served as time capsules of our past. They give us the chance to take a glimpse of what our past is like. We are given the chance to travel back in time and reminisce.
More power to you!
