IMAX Theater in SM North Opens on July 16,2009

SM North Edsa is the next venue for IMAX Theater experience in the Philippines. Aside from the first in SM Mall of Asia, there will be two IMAX that SM Prime Holdings plans to install – in Manila and Cebu.

An IMAX theater equipped with IMAX’s digital projection system delivers the key elements that make up The IMAX Experience.

- The IMAX Experience is created through a comprehensive suite of intellectual property and technology, and it is the unique combination of these features that impacts what moviegoers see, hear and feel at the movies.
- IMAX’s revolutionary projection technology, which delivers crystal-clear images
- IMAX’s powerful audio system, which delivers laser-aligned digital sound
- IMAX’s customized theatre geometry, which maximizes your field of view

FACT : The Seven IMAX Wonders of the World – the best, the biggest, and the craziest thunderdomes IMAX has to offer.

Ticket pricing is not yet disclosed, but let’s say it’s the same as the first in Mall of Asia. Php300 for regular movies and over Php500 for blockbusters.
