David Correy, 26, auditioned on tonight’s episode of The X Factor USA Season 2. Correy impressed the judges with his Bruno Mars’ “Just The Way You Are” performance.

Correy lives in Maryland with his adoptive family. His Brazilian mother gave him for adoption when she gave birth at 14. He hopes that X Factor would be an instrument in reconnecting with her.

The judges comments: Britney, “You were amazing.” LA says, “There’s something really charming about you. I’m so impressed when you sing with your upper register is so powerful. You gonna go far. Simon, “You know why i really like you. You are very good.” He got four 4 yeses.
