Cebu dancing inmates from the Philippines are back with a tribute to Michael Jackson who died of cardiac arrest at an early age of 50.
The Cebu dancing inmates became instant internet sensation in Youtube with their own video of ‘Thriller“. This time, the inmates performed their final tribute to King of Pop Michael Jackson inspired with the song Ben. The video was published 2 days ago and watched by almost 2 million viewers around the world.
Here’s the video
“Ben” is a number-one hit song written by Don Black and Walter Scharf and recorded by the teenaged Michael Jackson in 1972. The song was originally written for Danny Osmond but he was on tour so the song was offered to Michael Jackson. Ben was a theme of the movie with the same title – the sequel to the 1971 killer rat movie Willard.

This is amazing. Just shows what huge reach Michael Jackson had. Has there ever been a performer who was as famous or as loved? I doubt it.
