The first eliminated contestant on ABC’s newest singing competition “Duets” was announced on June 7 episode of the show. After three weeks of competition, the show eliminated Alexis Foster after receiving the judges final votes.
The bottom two, Foster together with Jason Farol earned the lowest ranking of the night. The two had to go head-to-head without their celebrity partners in a solo, a capella round.
Farol belted out his rendition of Billy Paul‘s “Me and Mrs. Jones,” while Foster performed Aretha Franklin‘s “Natural Woman.”
In the end, Foster had the lowest score, and was the first contestant sent packing. What do you think of the results? Watch more “Duets” performances here.
